Drying linen outside

Shade, a breeze, and taking it in a little damp.

Linen dries quickly. On a breezy day an hour or two outside is usually enough.

Hang coloured linen in the shade rather than full sun — strong sunlight fades dyes over time.

Bring it in while it's still very slightly damp and smooth it by hand. Linen is meant to look rumpled, so ironing is optional.
